Each of our therapists is highly experienced, competent, welcoming, and affirming to LGBTQIA+ persons and offers care that is wholesome and affirming to who you are.
MEET THE TEAM:
Dale Allgeier, LCSW (he/him/his)- Dale brings more than 30 years of experience to families, couples, and individuals. Dale's expertise and training are within family systems theory (especially Bowen Family Systems and Internal Family Systems), and he is prepared to help any and all persons navigate the diversity of their lives across a broad range of issues. He has special clinical interest and experience with couples and families. He can offer trans evaluations for for further gender affirming medical care as well! (MSW-West Virginia University)
Nicole DeFranco, LCSW (she/her/hers)- Nicole is a truly dynamic and diverse therapist having worked in so many different domains of social work and mental health care. She brings nearly 30 years experience to her clients from children and youth partial hospital programs, skilled nursing facilities and hospice care, general medical social work, public schools, and complex medical/organ transplant services. She practices mostly from CBT and solutions focused perspectives. Nicole only sees patients on Saturdays.

Anne Rill, LPC (she/her/hers)- Anne has more than 20 years of public service in both mental health and substance abuse treatment. She has worked with both adolescents and adults, and more recently over a decade providing care to Veterans. Anne's approach to care is based mainly off of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy. She has completed evidence-based trainings in CBT for Depression and in Couples Counseling. She often tells her clients, "you are in the driver seat of your care."

Drew Himes, LCSW, CAADC, MDiv (he/him/his)- Drew brings more than 13 years worth of experience to his clients from community mental health, skilled nursing facilities, private practice, and religious communities. He offers therapy from psychodynamic and client-centered (Rogerian) perspectives but also practices within CBT, CBT for trauma, and other modalities. He also has advanced training in sex therapy and sexuality issues. He has extensive training and experience in substance addiction treatment and holds national certification. He has completed training certification to issue the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MOCA) and has professional experience in long-term care with neurodegenerative illnesses (such as Alzheimer's and various dementias). He has also been a first responder and instructor (EMS) for over 14 years and is prepared to assist other first responders and military veterans to navigate the traumas they have experienced in their service.

Jonah Shumaker, MA (he/him/his). Jonah is a recent graduate of Slippery Rock University where he obtained his master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He currently is able to see patients at a greatly reduced cash fee and is working to be paneled with insurers. He has interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and psychodynamic therapy. He is currently supervised by Dale Allgeier, LCSW and Megan Paterson, LPC

Agnes Mullet, BA (they/them/theirs). Agnes is a current third year student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Slippery Rock University. They are currently completing a summer internship with LECI and they are being supervised by Dale Allgeier, LCSW and Drew Himes, LCSW, CAADC. They have clinical interests in serving the LGBTQIA+ population, CBT, and ACT. While Agnes does not currently see patients independently, they do observe active sessions and receive supervision and further training.
